The Shadow looked excellent, body wise, in it's current state. Every opening was masked up and every body panel (including the wheel rings) have been primed, sanded & cleaned to ready the car for paint. The car is covered by a plastic sheet to keep dust and dirt away while awaiting it's first coat of paint.
There will be a total of five coats: four layers of each colour (Bordeaux Red & Gold) & one layer of clear coat.
We'd expect the first coat of paint to be sprayed on by the end of this week.
Meanwhile, the Kincrome esky will also be painted in the same colour combination, with the gold accenting the "kincrome" logo against the Bordeaux Red background.
