Nutsch & Boltschs...

On Saturday, 11 May 2013, we received a letter in the mail from Frits.

The enveloped contained some photographs of the car in its present state, as well as a detailed description of what jobs have commenced since our last visit to his workshop.

The Shadow in her present state. All trimming and ornaments has been stripped. All glass will be removed as well before paint.

Frits has meticulously described each photograph below:

Rusty bolts and nuts, only a fraction of those taken off.

Headlamp units overpainted & rusty.

Interior under carpet.
*Note a Kopiko candy wrapper, a mint candy & a golf score card in the top right.

Lower LH windscreen and rusty body.

Inside fuel refuelling apartment.

Rusty brake fluid reservoir.

Rear bumper side brackets.

Previous repaint without removal of parts. Paint to be removed from reverse lights.
*Note: As mentioned in the previous post, the original paint of this particular Silver Shadow was a dull grey.

Heatertap.

Slight corrosion on carburettor.

Stay followed for more!
